[00:00:00] Welcome to Breathwork Needs Your Voice. I'm Chauna, founder of Breath Liberation Society. We certify confident, trauma-informed breathwork facilitators, and this show is for anyone who's felt called to lead and hasn't seen themselves in the front of the room. Let's change that
Last episode, I walked you through the four teaching components of the training, the six modules, the apiary library, live support, and facilitation clearance. In this episode, I want to show you what you walk away with, and I want to show you why you need every single one of those pieces to get there.
Let's start with Bridget. Bridget is a mental health therapist and co-owner of Green Door Therapy, a practice of 12 therapists in the Chicago suburbs. Before BLS, breathwork was sneaking into her therapy sessions. In her words, she was talking about breathwork, but not really being able to share it and sort of feeling a bit of stuckness.
Like so many therapists, she was tired. She told me the burnout was real, [00:01:00] and that self-care had been taught to her as you gotta take care of yourself, but without a lot of real training or context. So here's what changed. Bridget now offers breathwork to her clients and her colleagues' therapy clients as a complement to the therapy they're already doing.
She brought energetic boundaries to her entire team. Here's what she said about breathwork, and I quote,
breathwork helped me reinvigorate my desire to just work with human beings." That's what I want for you. So let's talk about what you walk away with and where each piece comes from.
You will walk away with a personal practice that is yours. This comes from module one, breathwork foundations. Those first 30 days of breath are really a pivotal point for so many of our students because it gives you an unshakable practice.
It gives you the ability to turn to breathwork when you're having a good day or a bad day. It gives you the ability to figure out your own kind of curated experience, and you'll know what breath you need when you're having an up day. You'll [00:02:00] know what breath you'll need when you're having a down day.
The breath is yours. It will be yours forever.
You will also walk away with a clear plan for whatever comes up in sessions. We have a step-by-step process so that if anything happens, whatever happens in a breathwork session, you will be well prepared for it. No surprises as a facilitator.
You have trainings for this. You will know how to handle anything in a breathwork session.
The next thing you're gonna walk away with is your own voice, not mine. You will not sound like me at the end of this training. Though some students say, "And I could hear Chauna in my head," and that, that might happen.
What you'll walk away with is a deeper understanding of your own passions, of your own voice, of how you want to share, of what you want to share. You'll walk away with a closer connection to your higher self. You will also walk away with confidence in front of a room, and this comes from module five.
If you can facilitate breathwork, believe me, friend, you can facilitate anything. And with our group training, it tells [00:03:00] you how to create a container where people feel supported, where there are very clear boundaries for communication. We talk a lot about how to schedule out your time. So much of these little, tiny things add up to our ability to stand confidently in front of a room, but also for people to trust you to come back over and over and over again to work with you because they know that you'll value their time.
They know that you will offer a space where they can truly thrive and where their voices can be heard.
You will also walk away with proof that you're ready. You're going to get a certificate, but you'll also have my stamp of approval.
You will also have that facilitation clearance. You will also have that facilitation feedback, so you're not wondering if you're ready. You will know that you have been cleared.
You will walk away with your first paying client, if that's what you want. This comes from the business lectures. Offers, pricing, you'll learn where to facilitate.
If you never wanna charge a dime, that's okay too. We have plenty of students that do this training for their own practice, um, for their own personal growth [00:04:00] with the understanding that maybe one day, they'll offer sessions for money. Not required, but again, if you wanna do it, we're gonna get you there.
You're also gonna walk away with people in your corner. I cannot begin to tell you how incredible our Breath Liberation Society community is. The students meet up all over the country. They go to each other's groups. We are a really, really fun community where it's a really rad group of people to be around, and I can't wait for you to experience it.
The last thing you walk away with is credentials. You get a certificate. You get a listing in our graduate directory. You get an ability to register with the Global Professional Breathwork Alliance, plus lifetime access to all of the online materials. So that's the Responsible Facilitation Method, the Apiary Library.
You'll get access to all updates in the future as well. So here's the thing I really want you to hear You can't skip the result. Bridget didn't just wake up offering breathwork to her colleagues. Every one of those outcomes comes from one of these pieces that I've talked about today. Your practice [00:05:00] builds your foundation, the method gives you a plan, the apiary helps you find your voice, clearance proves you're ready, and the support keeps you going even when your life gets busy.
That's why our training is built this way. In the next and final episode, I'm going to walk you through your first 30 days in the training and how you'll join us. I'll see you in the next one
