Breathwork Needs Your Voice
A free 7-part private podcast for anyone who's felt called to lead breathwork and hasn't seen themselves in the front of the room.
You know what breathwork does for you. Maybe it changed something, and you can't stop thinking about it.
But leading it for someone else? That's a whole different thing.
Maybe you've wondered what happens if someone panics. Or has a medical condition you don't know how to work with. Or what if you say the wrong thing in a moment that matters.
I hear these worries from almost everyone who comes to Breath Liberation Society. So I made a private podcast to answer them.
What you'll hear (7 episodes, released over the next week)
1. You want to lead breathwork. Now what? The four worries I hear from almost everyone who joins, in their own words.
2. What it looks like when you're ready. What our graduates are doing with breathwork right now, from therapy practices to puppet play.
3. The Responsible Facilitation Method. The four steps at the center of every session we teach.
4. Sherry's story. A clinical psychologist who'd already done a breathwork training, and what finally changed.
5. Inside the BLS Breathwork Facilitator Certification. What's inside, and who it's for.
6. You won't be doing this alone. The support that gets you from student to facilitator.
7. Your first 30 days. What happens when you start.

About your host
Hi, I'm Chauna (she/her), founder and head teacher of Breath Liberation Society.
I've been teaching Pilates since 2006 and facilitating breathwork since 2018. My first breathwork training promised I'd be ready to facilitate in one week. Long story short, I was not properly trained. I kept finding myself in sessions where I didn't know what to do, worried I might cause harm. That's why I'm so passionate about teaching people to facilitate responsibly.
Breath Liberation Society is the training I wish I'd had. We're globally accredited by the Global Professional Breathwork Alliance, and we've trained 80+ students to lead trauma-informed breathwork in their own voices. I've presented at the Polyvagal Institute's Global Gathering and served as Facilitator in Residence at Sounds True.
