For people who already hold others in some way (clients, classes, community) and are serious about leading breathwork responsibly, not winging it.

“Which breathwork certification is the best one?”

“Do I need to be more healed before I can lead anyone?”

“How many more sessions do I need before I’m ready?”

These are the questions I hear all the time. They’re fair questions. They’re also keeping a lot of good people stuck in research mode.

The questions that matter:

âś” Have you ever led a full breathwork session for someone else?

✔ If someone’s hands cramped or they started to panic halfway through, would you know what to do?

In this masterclass I’ll walk you through the three steps from your own practice to leading sessions you can stand behind, even if you’ve only ever breathed along with an app (and even if you already did another training and still don’t feel ready).

đź“… Join me live on Thursday, November 19. Pick your time: 12:00 pm ET (9:00 am PT) or 8:00 pm ET (5:00 pm PT).

Who you are learning from...

Hi! I’m Chauna (she/her), founder of Breath Liberation Society, and possibly the least chill meditation teacher you’ll ever meet.

In 2018 I took out a PayPal loan to pay $1,500 for a one-week breathwork training that promised I’d be ready to facilitate. Then I led a room of about 25 people and knew almost immediately I was a fish out of water. People had big responses, and I didn’t have the skills to walk them through it.

So I went and learned what I was missing, one training at a time. That became the Responsible Facilitation Method, the way I teach every BLS student to lead with a plan from before someone lies down to after they go home.

I’ve taught Pilates since 2006 and facilitated breathwork since 2018. I’ve presented at the Polyvagal Institute’s Global Gathering and served as Facilitator in Residence at Sounds True. BLS is GPBA accredited, and we’re the first and only GPBA-accredited program owned and operated by a Black woman. 80+ students have trained with BLS, and 60+ are certified facilitators.

Places I've held space:

In this live class you will discover:

The Exact Path to Becoming a Confident Facilitator

Step 1: Breath Fluency
Why this comes first. Before you can hold space for someone else, you need a real relationship with your own breath and the boundaries that let you do this work without burning out. You'll leave knowing exactly what that relationship requires to build, so you're not facilitating from memorized information, you're facilitating from your own embodied experience.

Step 2: Trauma-Informed Care
Breathwork is a powerful modality, and power requires skill and care. Knowing how breath works with the nervous system is paramount to holding a session responsibly. This is where you learn the Responsible Facilitation Method, so you know exactly what to do in any situation, including an adverse reaction, instead of hoping you'll figure it out in the moment.

Step 3: Business of Breathwork
Why this is the step that actually gets you out there. If facilitating in your community is your goal, step three will get you there. Intake forms, pricing, your scheduler, the practical pieces that turn a completed training into a facilitator who's actually working. You'll leave knowing what it takes to go from certified to booked.

💜 Stay until the end and you’ll receive a bonus training, The Quick Start Guide to Breathwork for Anxiety.

Meet Shannon Cury:

Shannon went from:

  • An expensive prior breathwork training that ignored trauma, race, and the world as it actually is
  • Having to unlearn almost everything before she could trust a new training

To:

  • Leading breathwork at mental health institutions
  • Offering breathwork in the San Diego area
  • Leading supported digital detoxes
  • Hosting her own podcast, "Collectively Well Enough"

Meet Dr Sherry Taylor

Sherry went from:

  • Feeling like they had to choose between rigor and intuition in their clinical work

  • Wanting a trauma-informed approach they could actually trust

To:

  • A practice that holds both the science and the energy work, without compromising either
  • The confidence to bring breathwork into their existing clinical work

Meet Laurel Santos, LPC&LMFT

Laurel went from:

  • Referring breathwork clients out to someone else, and watching most of them never follow up
  • Feeling like breathwork was separate from her actual practice
  • Missing the ability to offer somatic work to her most experienced clients, including other therapists

To:

  • Breathwork built directly into her individual, couples, and group sessions
  • A practice where even clients who've done years of EMDR and somatic work say breathwork gets them deepest into their body
  • A skill that makes everything else she does more effective, not a side hustle

She used the Responsible Facilitation Method taught in this training and now leads with confidence in every session she offers.

You already know what the breath can do. Come learn how to lead it.

Join me live on Thursday, November 19 at 12:00 pm ET or 8:00 pm ET, and I’ll walk you through the three steps from breathing for yourself to confidently leading someone else, even if you’ve never led a full session before.
