Thank you for your interest in Breath Liberation Society's Breathwork Facilitation training and thank you for your patience. I know many of you have been on the waitlist for almost a year. I also know you have been hard at work committing to your own practice (I see y’all showing up). Are you ready to confidently share Breathwork with your community?
I want you to be well-informed when the applications open in April, so you don’t end up on the waitlist again!
There are two BIG announcements.
ONE: We are increasing the Breathwork facilitator training total hour count from 200 to 400 hours.
Why? The new hour count is one of two necessary steps that we are taking in order to be accredited through the Global Professional Breathwork Alliance (GPBA).
Breath Liberation Society will be the first and only GPBA-accredited program that is owned and operated by a black woman.
TWO: We are going Hybrid baby!* Cohort three will include an in-person weekend, so we can gather, learn, and breathe IRL. I have the perfect location picked out, it offers full lodging and meals + outdoor and temperature-controlled well-ventilated spaces so that we can gather with minimal risk.
Mark your calendars for September 21-24. The location is a 3-hour drive from Baltimore, MD. I’m checking it out in person in a few weeks and will confirm everything when it’s set.
*The weekend will be recorded (hopefully live-streamed), for those who choose not to travel
This training is a 7-month commitment, and those who wish to pursue the full GPBA certification should anticipate spending another 17 months fulfilling practice teaching and supervision hours.

BLS Breathwork Facilitator Training
A 7- month intensive that consists of monthly gatherings, recorded lectures, peer practice teaching, group Breathwork sessions, and one in-person weekend. Followed by self-study and practice facilitation with supervision.
Schedule:
We will meet on the third Saturday of every month, starting April 22 from 12- 6 pm EST. Here are the dates: 4/22, 5/20, 6/17, 7/15, 8/19 + 9/21-9/24 in person. October meetings will be in small groups.
Group Breathwork for the cohort will be held on the first Thursday of every month May
Price:
4,500 USD. This includes everything listed above (the training, the full apiary library with 24+ guest lecturers, and room and board at the in-person retreat) and excludes the following:
-Elective reading materials.
-Personal travel to and from the in-person weekend location.
**Payments can be made in full, or in four monthly payments**
Important Dates:

Scholarships:
Scholarship applications are closed for the Spring 2023 session, all of the seats have been filled.
Important Dates:
February 26 - Scholarships applications open
March 12 - Scholarship applications close
March 14 - Applicants will receive notice of first decisions and invitations to a virtual interview
March 23 - Scholarships will be awarded
Scholarship recipients must pay tuition in full or make the first payment (of a four-month payment plan) by April 7th.
